What is a data analytics course?
A data analytics course teaches you to answer business questions with data: SQL to pull it, Excel and Python to clean and analyse it, statistics to judge it, and Power BI or Tableau to present it. A useful one ends with portfolio projects built on business data that you can walk an interviewer through. Courses sold in India differ mostly in live hours, format, fee and refund terms, which is what the table below compares.
How we compared them
Every number in the table was read on each vendor's own course page on 27 September 2026 and re-checked by a second reader the same day. Where a page shows a struck-through price and an offer, the offer price is recorded with the original noted. Where a fee is only visible as an EMI, we recorded the total the page states. Where a page prints no fee, no hours, no batch size or no refund policy, the cell says 'not published'. Placement wording is quoted as written.
Two vendors the last version of this page listed by name, Gyansetu and ExcelR, still do not print a fee; both route to a counsellor. They stay in the table with that fact in the fee column.
Which data analytics courses are sold in India, and what does each one publish?

Why does the same syllabus cost a hundred times more at one school than another?
Compare any five of these and you will find near-identical module lists: Excel, Power Query, SQL, Python with pandas, descriptive statistics, Power BI, sometimes Tableau. The syllabus is settled and has been for years.
What moves the price is delivery. Recorded video with no instructor sits at ₹999 to ₹4,999. Live online teaching sits at ₹1,999 (a dated promotion) to ₹1,19,999 depending on hours and brand. Classroom space in a metro, small batches, one-to-one mentoring and a placement team that makes calls on your behalf push a course to ₹1,19,999 plus taxes and beyond. A university badge on the certificate adds to that. SkilloVilla is not selling different SQL; it is selling a room in Bangalore, a cohort you meet in person, and staff.
That can be worth it. Just know which of the two you are buying, because the marketing page presents both as the same product.

Which option suits which learner?
There is no single best analytics course in India. There is a best one for your budget, your schedule and how much hand-holding you need. Read the fee column with the hours column next to it: a 14-month duration with no hour count is a promise about the calendar, not about teaching.
Our analytics track, with the numbers
PrepNPlaced runs Data Analytics Zero to Hero at ₹20,000, one payment. Cohort 1 opens with an orientation on Saturday 26 September 2026; classes run from 3 October to 6 December 2026 with the Diwali weekend off: 18 classes, Saturday and Sunday from 7 to 9:30 AM IST, a batch of 40, 45 hours of live teaching. That is about ₹444 per live hour.
SQL takes about 40% of the class time. That is a deliberate imbalance, because SQL is what analyst interviews screen on, and a course that spreads its hours evenly across five tools leaves you weak on the one that decides the interview.
You build three projects in class and publish them to your own GitHub: a SQL project, a Python exploratory analysis, and a Power BI capstone. Every seat includes a resume built by our team, three mock interviews, and one month of the Job Seeker plan, starting the day after the last class (7 December 2026). It is a cheaper and shorter course than most on this page, and that cuts both ways. There is no classroom, no six-month runway, and no year-long placement desk. If you want those, the classroom programmes above are the honest answer.
How do you read a placement claim?
Look at the placement column: 'job assured', '100% placement', '92% placement rate', '85% placement rate', 'interview guarantee', 'placement assistance'. Not one comes with a named batch and a denominator, and Coursera's 82% is for graduates in the United States. A school choosing its own denominator can turn almost any outcome into a high number, usually by counting only students who completed every module and opted into placement support.
