Best Data Analytics Courses in India (2026)

We run one of the courses on this list, so treat our entry with the scepticism you would apply to any vendor writing its own comparison. The rest of the page is still useful, because the fee spread in Indian data analytics training is close to seven-fold for what is broadly the same syllabus, and almost nobody publishes the number that explains the gap. Here is what separates a ₹20,000 course from a ₹1.48 lakh one, and the placement claims worth ignoring.

Spread of published data analytics course fees in India, 2026

Key takeaways

Published fees run from about ₹20,000 for a live weekend cohort to ₹1.48 lakh for a classroom programme in Bangalore. The syllabus barely moves across that range.
Almost every analytics course teaches Excel, SQL, Python, Power BI and some statistics. If a school leads with its syllabus, it is describing the category, not itself.
SQL is the screening filter for analyst roles, so weight courses by how much SQL time they give you rather than by how many tools they list.
Advertised placement percentages are rarely auditable. A named batch with a fraction is worth more than any headline rate.
Prices starting at ₹999 are usually an EMI instalment or a first-module price, not the course fee. Check the total before comparing.

Why the same syllabus costs seven times more at one school than another

Compare five analytics courses and you will find near-identical module lists. Excel, Power Query, SQL, Python with pandas, descriptive statistics, Power BI, sometimes Tableau. The syllabus is settled and has been for years.

What moves the price is delivery. Classroom space in a metro costs money. So do small batches, one-to-one mentoring, and a placement team that makes calls on your behalf. A ₹1.48 lakh classroom programme in Bangalore is not selling different SQL. It is selling a room, a cohort you meet in person, and staff.

That can be worth it. Just know which of the two you are buying, because the marketing page will present both as the same product.

What the market charges in 2026

Several schools in this category do not publish a fee at all and route you to a counsellor instead. Treat an unpublished price as a negotiation, and ask for the number in writing before you share a phone number.

The options, and who each suits

There is no single best analytics course in India. There is a best one for your budget, your schedule and how much hand-holding you need.

SkilloVilla: classroom programme in Bangalore at ₹1,48,000 covering Excel, SQL, Python and BI tools. Best if you want in-person teaching and a physical cohort.
Gyansetu: Delhi-based, four months, covering Gen AI alongside Excel, SQL, Python and Power BI with live projects. Best if you are in the NCR and want classroom access.
Inventateq: about ₹24,999 for roughly 90 days across Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau and Python or R, offline and online batches with an in-house placement cell.
ExcelR: roughly 150 hours over about six months in a blended model, live sessions recorded for review. Best if your schedule is unpredictable.
GROWAI: a 16-week live programme advertising an 85% placement rate. We cannot verify that figure, and neither can you, so ask for the batch and the denominator.

Our analytics track, with the numbers

PrepNPlaced runs Data Analytics Zero to Hero at ₹20,000. Cohort 1 starts 26 September 2026 and finishes 29 November 2026: 18 classes, Saturday and Sunday from 7am to 10am IST, 40 seats, 54 hours of live teaching.

SQL takes about 40% of the class time. That is a deliberate imbalance, because SQL is what analyst interviews screen on, and a course that spreads its hours evenly across five tools leaves you weak on the one that decides the interview.

You build three projects in class and publish them to your own GitHub: a SQL project, a Python exploratory analysis, and a Power BI capstone. Every seat includes a resume built by our team, three mock interviews, 25 auto-applied jobs, and one month of the Job Seeker plan starting the day after the last class.

It is a cheaper and shorter course than most on this page, and that cuts both ways. There is no classroom, no six-month runway, and no year-long placement desk. If you want those, the classroom programmes above are the honest answer.

Reading a placement claim

Placement percentages in this category are mostly unaudited. A school choosing its own denominator can turn almost any outcome into a high number, usually by counting only students who completed every module and opted into placement support.

Ask which batch the number covers, and when it graduated.
Ask for the fraction, not the percentage. 34 of 40 is a claim. 85% is a design choice.
Ask what counts as a placement, including internships, contract roles and non-analytics jobs.
Ask how many students are still searching six months on. Schools that track this will tell you.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How much does a data analytics course cost in India?

Published fees run from about ₹20,000 for a live weekend cohort to ₹1,48,000 for a classroom programme in Bangalore. Mid-range online options sit near ₹25,000. Fees advertised from ₹999 are usually instalments rather than the total.

Which tools should a 2026 analytics course cover?

Excel with Power Query, SQL including joins and window functions, Python with pandas for exploratory analysis, descriptive and inferential statistics, and Power BI with DAX. Tableau is useful but rarely the deciding factor in an Indian analyst interview.

How much SQL should a data analytics course include?

More than most give it. SQL is the first technical filter in the majority of analyst hiring processes, so a course that treats it as one tool among five leaves you underprepared for the round that eliminates people.

Can I get a data analyst job without a paid course?

Yes, and many do. Paid courses buy structure, deadlines and feedback on your work. If you have finished self-paced material before without stalling, spend the money on projects and interview practice instead.

Is a classroom analytics course better than an online one?

Better for accountability if you struggle to show up alone, and better for building a local peer network. It is not better teaching, and you pay several times more for the room. Pick classroom for the discipline, not the syllabus.
