Privacy Policy

This policy explains how PrepNPlaced collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use PrepNPlaced.com, CareerOS, courses, AI career tools, LinkedIn automation, and related services.

Information We Collect

  • Account information such as name, email address, login method, phone number if provided, and profile preferences.
  • Career workspace information that you choose to provide, including resumes, job descriptions, target roles, interview practice inputs, learning progress, course enrollment status, and LinkedIn automation preferences.
  • Generated content and operational metadata, such as AI drafts, resume outputs, scheduled LinkedIn post records, publish status, timestamps, and error diagnostics needed to run the product.
  • Payment and enrollment events from our payment processor. We do not store full card, UPI, or bank credentials on PrepNPlaced servers.
  • Technical data such as device type, browser, IP-derived security signals, cookies, logs, and performance diagnostics.

How We Use Information

  • To provide CareerOS features, including resume tools, job search, mock interviews, learning roadmaps, open learning, courses, and LinkedIn automation.
  • To generate AI-assisted career content, improve product quality, prevent abuse, troubleshoot errors, and keep services reliable.
  • To send important service messages such as enrollment confirmations, payment notifications, post-publish notifications, security alerts, and support responses.
  • To comply with legal, tax, security, fraud-prevention, and platform obligations.

Google Gmail Access

  • If you connect Gmail inside LinkedIn Automation, PrepNPlaced requests Gmail send permission so the product can send post-publish notification emails related to your scheduled LinkedIn automation workflow.
  • We do not use Gmail access to read your inbox, delete messages, scan unrelated email, sell email content, or send unrelated marketing from your Gmail account.
  • Gmail access is optional. LinkedIn automation can still be used without Gmail notifications where supported.
  • You can revoke Google access anytime from your Google Account permissions page.

LinkedIn Automation

  • When you connect LinkedIn, PrepNPlaced stores access tokens in encrypted form where supported and uses them only to perform actions you request or approve, such as scheduling and publishing posts through official LinkedIn APIs.
  • PrepNPlaced does not support fake engagement automation such as auto-liking, mass commenting, or unsafe scraping behavior.
  • Generated post drafts, visual previews, approval state, publish timing, and publish result metadata may be stored so the workflow can run reliably.

AI Processing

  • Some features use third-party AI providers to generate, review, or improve career materials and LinkedIn content.
  • Do not upload confidential, illegal, or highly sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for the feature you are using.
  • AI output may be inaccurate and should be reviewed before use, especially for resumes, interview answers, job applications, and public social posts.

Sharing And Service Providers

  • We may share limited information with infrastructure, database, email, analytics, payment, AI, and OAuth providers only as needed to operate PrepNPlaced.
  • We do not sell your personal information.
  • We may disclose information if required by law, to protect users, prevent fraud, enforce our terms, or secure the platform.

Security And Retention

  • We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including access controls, secure transport, environment-based secret management, and encrypted token storage where applicable.
  • No internet service can guarantee perfect security. Users should keep account credentials private and revoke integrations they no longer use.
  • We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with obligations, resolve disputes, improve safety, and maintain business records.

Your Choices

  • You may update profile details, disconnect optional integrations, contact support for account or data requests, and unsubscribe from non-essential communications where applicable.
  • You can revoke Google and LinkedIn permissions from the respective provider account settings.
  • To request access, correction, deletion, or support, email support@prepnplaced.com.
