- Are these internships and apprenticeships paid?
- Many are, but not all. Where the official notification states a monthly amount we show it on the card and in the "Stipend disclosed" list. Where the employer says the role is paid without a figure, the card says "Paid, amount not stated". Unpaid programmes are marked unpaid, and "Not disclosed" means the listing does not say — it does not mean the role is unpaid.
- Do I need a degree to apply?
- It depends on the row. Trade and technician apprenticeships take ITI and diploma holders; graduate apprenticeships and most internships want a bachelor's degree or students in their final years; JRF and research posts often require GATE or NET. Every card carries the eligibility line copied from the official page — read it before you apply.
- How often is this list updated?
- Weekly. Each row shows the date it was last checked on the employer's page. Rows whose deadline has passed drop off the board automatically at midnight IST and move to the archive, so a closed deadline is never shown as open.
- What does "rolling" mean?
- The employer has not published a closing date and takes applications until the position is filled. The row was open on the date shown as last verified; if a rolling listing has closed since, tell us and we will pull it.
- How do you verify a listing?
- A researcher opens the official notification or careers page, confirms the role, deadline, stipend and eligibility, and records the date. "Verified on official page" means all of that was readable in the open. "Details behind portal" means the listing is live but some fields sit behind a login. The card's "How we verified this" note explains anything unusual.
- What does "Verify before applying" mean?
- The listing was live when checked but something could not be confirmed on the official page — usually the exact deadline or the stipend, or the page is a third-party posting the employer has not mirrored. Treat the row as a lead, open the official link, and confirm the details yourself before you spend time on an application.
- Are remote roles included?
- Yes. Fully remote listings are on the Remote page and hybrid ones on the Hybrid page. Some are global programmes that accept applicants in India; the eligibility line says whether a specific country or time zone is required.
- How do I apply?
- Every card links to the employer's own application page — a careers site, an ATS or an official form. PrepNPlaced does not take applications, forward resumes or charge for a listing. If a link goes to a portal, you apply there directly.
